While focusing on myopathy, neuropathy, radiculopathy and disorders of the neuromuscular junction, you will develop specialized knowledge and skills related to:
- electromyography and nerve conductions in patients with neuromuscular symptoms
- clinical and electrophysiological manifestations of motor neuron disease
- localizing radiculopathies based on reflexes and selective manual muscle testing
- adverse effects of drug treatments, including amitriptyline and pyridostigmine
