Our library system offers access to databases including Medline, AccessMedicine and MDConsult, and hosts multimedia resources from instructional videos to archival monographs.

Centrally located on UB’s south campus, the dedicated Health Sciences Library houses state-of-the-art computing and multimedia resources, including over 2,500 health sciences audiovisual titles. Its multimedia development lab provides access to the latest media editing software and hardware for classroom or research projects.

The library also manages an extensive collection of historical print and non-print health sciences materials, including medical publications from before the nineteenth century, anatomical models and instruments.

Hospital Libraries

Our affiliated hospitals maintain on-site libraries, with further access to print and electronic materials. While on rotation at any of these sites, faculty, residents, fellows and students have full access to their libraries, including reference assistance and inter- and intra-library loans.
