Calendar Sutures
Calendar Suture provides links to iCal versions of Medical School Events. Users can copy and add these iCal links into their favorite calendaring applications.
Adding to Your Device
- On Calendar Suturer, choose a calendar type whether it is courses, school/departmental, or other.
- Choose one or more calendars by selecting the checkbox next to each desired calendar.
- Highlight or select the highlight option and copy the URL to your clipboard.
- Under the "Calendar" tab.
- Click "Open Calendar" -- "From Internet"
- Copy and Paste URL from this web page - click "OK"
- Click "Advanced" - enter a name for this calendar and click "OK" and then "Yes"
- "Settings" -- "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
- "Accounts" -- "Add Account..." -- "Other" -- "Add Subscribed Calendar"
- Copy and Paste URL from this web page
- Enter a name for this calendar in the "Description" field.
- Click "Next" -- "Save"
Caveat: Google Calendar takes between 24-48 hours for calendar feed updates to propagate into your Google calendar. It would be best to not use it for any calendar that may have updated events.
Using either apps below, your calendar events that have been added to Exchange/Outlook from the desktop or web will show on the mobile version
Microsoft Outlook: A mobile version of the full-featured Outlook
Microsoft Outlook Lite: Smaller app size with a lower battery usage but requires internet access to use.
