EEG/Epilepsy Conference

This focused didactic series teaches you how to effectively use EEG, genetic testing and neuroimaging to diagnose and treat epilepsy.

You’ll also learn how to use somatosensory and visual evoked responses to diagnose and evaluate disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system that involve these pathways.

During presentations and discussions, we’ll cover:

  • physiology of volume conduction
  • generation of cerebral rhythms
  • alteration of normal EEG rhythms by trauma, tumors, encephalopathy, et cetera
  • patterns associated with the epilepsies
  • the generation of evoked potentials and their role in diagnosing central and nervous system diseases

Fellows share presentation responsibilities with faculty. We’ll provide you with a topic to present.
