During this multidisciplinary conference, you’ll identify potential candidates for epilepsy surgery and prepare the presentation for the case with which you’re involved.
You’ll determine which kind of surgery each patient requires and learn how to identify features of the presurgical evaluation that are favorable or unfavorable for outcomes, along with those that deserve additional investigation.
In the process, you’ll better understand the key differences among laser surgery, open resections and vagus nerve stimulation placement.
Conference participants include epileptologists, neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons and EEG technicians. Having this interchange of experience ensures that our patients receive the highest quality of care and the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments.
