UB’s pediatric grand rounds are held every Friday (except major holidays) from 8 to 9 a.m. at Alford Auditorium in Oishei Children’s Outpatient Center.
Presenters include division staff from the Department of Pediatrics, guest speakers from other institutions and visiting specialists. Although the topics cover current issues and recent developments within pediatrics, many are relevant to the broader medical community.
One session each month is devoted to quality improvement and assurance. At these presentations, speakers identify and analyze areas of clinical practice for professional development, learning and improvement.
UB’s pediatric grand rounds are not commercially sponsored. Speakers with commercial interests may present only by invitation from UB faculty, and those interests are always disclosed.
All medical professionals are invited to attend UB’s pediatric grand rounds and can earn CME credit for participating.
