Medical Student Education

Through sound, in-depth teaching, we prepare medical students with a foundation in pediatrics that enables careers in specialties from adolescent medicine to pulmonology.

We run the third-year pediatrics clerkship, leading didactic sessions and training you at our clinical sites.

We also offer paid summer research internships for rising second-year medical students.

  • Pediatrics Clerkship
Our clerkship provides students with a comprehensive experience in the field of pediatrics that will allow them to consider it as a possible career choice.
  • Elective Courses
From developmental pediatrics to pediatric intensive care, our electives familiarize you with the scope of clinical services a pediatrician provides and the breadth of medical knowledge our profession encompasses.
  • Research Opportunities
When you collaborate with our world-class faculty researchers, you’ll explore innovative ways to treat patients and advance health care.
