I wanted a program that would challenge me intellectually but also support me personally.
Buffalo has a diverse patient population with a wide range of pathology. During my first week on the floor, I was challenged by cases of congenital syphilis, atypical Kawasaki and a rare case of Moyamoya.
I survived that week due to the invaluable encouragement and support I received from my co-residents and attendings.
This challenging yet friendly environment is conducive to learning. It’s exactly why I chose UB.
