Independent Plastic Surgery Residency

Plastic surgeons in the operating room.

Associate program directors Mark Burke, MD, and Jordan Frey, MD, performing in the OR.

Our residency is an ACGME-accredited program that will educate residents to function as an independent surgeon in all areas of plastic surgery, both reconstructive and aesthetic. Trainees will receive a high quality education experience via working with faculty in inpatient, outpatient and operating room settings across multiple affiliated institutions, and through robust didactic programming including a variety of learning activities.

Program Goals

Our program provides the scholarship, education, experience and mentorship to develop a competing and responsible plastic surgeon with high moral and ethical character capable of functioning as an independent physician. In addition to our program goals, the resident is required to meet the milestones identified by the ACGME.
