Linda Harris, MD, was recently honored by department chair Steven Schwaitzberg, MD, and the Department of Surgery for her years of dedication as the Chief of Vascular Surgery. Harris continues as the Program Director of Vascular Surgery which she was appointed to in 2003. Congratulations!
Langan and Hu Win WNY Student Biz Challenge

Thomas Langan, MD, a surgery resident, and Jinwei Hu, MD, a clinical informatics fellow, won first place for their overall pitch and business idea at the recent WNY Regional Business Competition. Langan and Hu are also in the Surgery Plus Program.
