We offer a variety of pre‑med pathway programs aimed at recruiting and nurturing an inclusive community of future health care professionals. These pre‑medical programs aim to reflect the rich diversity of New York State’s communities and advance health equity across the region and beyond.

  • AMSNY/Jacobs School Post-Baccalaureate Program

    Our school hosts one of New York State’s largest post-baccalaureate programs designed to expand the pool of students who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming adversity on their paths to medicine. 
  • Early Assurance Program

    The Jacobs School recognizes the importance of inclusion in achieving excellence in the training of competent physicians. The Early Opportunity Program in Medicine program serves to identify and recruit qualified applicants at an early stage in their undergraduate development. Similar to our AMSNY Post-Baccalaureate program, the EOPIM is designed to expand the pool of economically and educationally disadvantaged students in medical school.
