Genomic microevolution of nontypeable Haemophilus influenzae during persistent chronic obstructive pulmonary disease infection: a focus on IgA protease
I study the pathogenesis of Haemophilus influenzae in the setting of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mainly investigating the virulence mechanisms utilized by the microbe to facilitate persistence in the lower respiratory tract during chronic infection.
