Faculty Burnout Prevention

The Ad Hoc Committee on Faculty Burnout Prevention was instated in October of 2021 with the purpose to investigate how well the infrastructure at the Jacobs School and its affiliated institutions supports the wellness needs of basic science and clinical faculty and recommend improvements.

Charges

The Committee is to investigate how well the infrastructure at the Jacobs School and its affiliated institutions supports the wellness needs of basic science and clinical faculty.

The Committee will be empowered to create surveys or other assessment tools to identify the level of faculty satisfaction with current infrastructure and support for improvements.

Based on the information gathered, the Committee will provide recommendations for improvements or for corrective actions to the Faculty Council.

The committee will consist of a Chair and a minimum of 4 other members including clinical and basic science Faculty.
