Graduate Educational Policies in Biomedical Sciences

The Select Committee on Graduate Educational Policies in Biomedical Sciences reviews, formulates and recommends policies relating to graduate programs of study that lead to MS, MA and PhD degrees in the Jacobs School.

Membership

Membership includes faculty: one from each program and one from a clinical department elected by the Faculty Council for staggered terms of two years. No more than one-third of the elected members of the committee shall be program directors.

Membership also includes four students selected by the representative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student Association.

All of the above have voting privileges.

The dean or his/her designee is an ex-officio member of the committee.

No more than one-half of the committee is replaced in any one year.
