I am a board-certified family medicine physician at ECMC Family Health Center. I care for patients of all ages and genders. My scope of practice includes treating a variety of acute and chronic disorders, performing health physicals, preventative care counseling, small procedures, and in-office point-of-care ultrasound. My clinic location is in a socioeconomically disadvantaged neighborhood of Buffalo. In this setting, many patients often face various disparities within the healthcare system. I am most passionate about providing quality care at every patient encounter as well as being an advocate and pairing with them to overcome any of their challenges. The neighborhood is also ethnically diverse and rich in culture. I enjoy learning my patients’ life stories and family backgrounds that make them so unique.
In additional to clinical practice, I also work as a Faculty Coach for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. I lead a group of medical students in reflective discussions and teach physical exam skills and history taking. I am also a preceptor for resident sessions during clinic. My goal in medical education is to help fortify clinical reasoning skills while also inspiring a stronger awareness and adaptability to social barriers.
