Lost on the Front Line: Texas Doctor, 28, Dies of COVID

Updated October 8, 2020

The Guardian quotes Dori R. Marshall, MD, associate dean and director of medical admissions, in a story remembering the life of recent medical school graduate Adeline Fagan, 28, who died of COVID-19 complications in July. Fagan “loved delivering babies, loved being part of the happy moment when a baby comes into the world, loved working with mothers,” Marshall said. The story was part of The Guardian’s “Lost on the Frontline” series. Fagan was an obstetrics and gynecology resident in a Houston hospital at the time of her death. She also worked with COVID-19 patients.
