Nurul Hidayah A. Azmi, a senior biotechnology major, is one of 11 UB undergraduates to receive an Award for Excellence in Research, Scholarship and Creativity.
Azmi is researching the link between circadian rhythms and breast cancer. She works in the laboratory of Nicoletta Sacchi, PhD, at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The title of her poster presentation was “Perturbation of Cellular Clock Affects Breast Acinar Morphogenesis.”
The awards were announced at UB’s eighth annual Celebration of Student Academic Excellence, April 5 in the Center for the Arts.
