The Student Study Suite, a gift from the Class of 1960, is given in appreciation of the excellent medical education members of the class received at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The gift also endorses the educational value of space dedicated to small-group teaching.
Fond recollections of the Class of 1960 include: “Outstanding, engaged and collegial classmates; three teaching hospitals—the ‘Meyer’, the ‘General’ and ‘Children’s’—where accomplished residents and clinicians taught us to practice thoughtful, disciplined medicine for the benefit of our patients; legendary faculty who motivated us to excel and who produced a class of outstanding contributors to medicine, including four distinguished alumni.”
