What are your favorite Buffalo seasonal activities and/or festivals?

In the summer, I enjoy checking out the various farmers markets around the area. The Bidwell Farmers Market and the North Tonawanda Farmers Market are my favorites! In the fall/winter, I love taking the Scenic Train Rides on the Arcade and Attica Railroad. They have fall foliage rides, a haunted train ride around Halloween, and a Christmas Wonderland Express ride in December.

How long have you lived in Buffalo? What aspects of Buffalo attracted you here and/or encourage you to stay?

Born and raised in Buffalo. I spent some time out east but eventually returned to be closer to family.

What are you reading now, and why would you recommend it?

My most recent read was Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. It's a really fun adventure book that explores relationships and connections. Plus, I'm a sucker for anything SciFi so it was 10/10 read for me.

What are you watching now, and why would you recommend it?

I have a 1-year-old at home, so TV is not something that I have time for right now. But I do eventually want to watch the movie adaptation of Project Hail Mary.

What hobby do you enjoy? Why do you recommend it?

I enjoy baking sourdough bread. I started during the pandemic and still try to bake at least one loaf of bread per week. I find it to be very therapeutic and it's sort of an artform since you can make different designs, flavor, etc.

What is your favorite mantra?

Everything is figure-out-able.

What lifts your mood?

Spending time with my son.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I hate football. (Sorry Bills fans; don't come for me!)
