"Elevate Your Academic Career: A Workshop Series on Promotion" (Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 18)

Navigating the path to promotion can be complex, but you don't have to do it alone. This workshop series is designed to support faculty at all stages of their academic careers. Through focused sessions led by the Jacobs School Office of Faculty Affairs, participants will gain a better understanding of the process, expectations and best practices for putting your best foot forward. All workshops will be held on Zoom.

Mentor Development Workshop: Communication and Work Styles (Jan. 28 and Feb. 5)

Generative AI: From Awareness to Effective Application (Feb. 10)

This workshop introduces faculty to practical, responsible ways to integrate AI into teaching and communication through guided reflection, authentic examples, and purposeful experimentation.

WNY Service-Learning Coalition Fall Summit on Healthy Communities

72 faculty, staff, students and community members came together to discuss how to support mutually beneficial university-community partnerships that promote student learning. The event was co-sponsored by the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences' Office of Faculty Affairs and UB’s Office of Inclusive Excellence, with support from the School of Public Health and Health Professions and Office of Student Engagement.
