Introduction to Teaching Technology
Classrooms in Jacobs School are equipped with some of the university's most advanced and flexible technology for engaging learners in and out of the classroom.
Classrooms, Active Learning Centers, conference rooms, and auditoriums will all have a touch screen control panel. This technology hub is used to manage all the room's peripherals, audio and video settings.
- Control panels are located on or near the lectern or teaching station for larger rooms or on the wall by the door for those smaller rooms
- Used to Control the room's audio and visual settings
- Select TV like displays or overhead projectors
- Adjust room's volume level
- Select input sources
- Lower or raise room lighting
- Raise and lower projector screens
