If we determine that the idea is newsworthy, we will either:

  • write a story and publish it on the school’s website
  • forward your information to writers in UB’s Office of Media Relations because they have determined that it should be distributed to a larger audience (i.e., local, national or international media outlets).

Media Relations will follow up with you to write a story and post it on their website. Our office will then republish it on our school’s website.

Posting to the Calendar

News submission forms do not post events to the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences events calendar. To list your upcoming event on the calender, log in to UBMobileMed with your SMBS username and password. Select Calendar from the landing page, and then Add Event.
