At UB, we’ve set the standard for training in addiction medicine. Join our one-year fellowship program and see how you can make a profound impact on the lives of patients with substance use disorders.

Our program — accredited by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education — prepares you to assume a leadership role in all areas of addiction medicine, from clinical care to research and education.

We train learners to deliver compassionate and effective evidence-based care to people with substance use disorders and to advocate for this marginalized population.
