Patients present with a wide range of disease states, encompassing one of the highest case severity indexes within the Veterans Health Affairs system.

The Buffalo VA Medical Center is the main referral center for area veterans seeking cardiac surgery, cardiology care and comprehensive cancer care.

It is one of only 12 VA medical centers nationwide conducting a trial of real-time, Internet-based electronic medical records exchanges with private sector hospitals, including all UB medical school rotation sites.

Horizon Health Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that provides hope and healing for individuals and their families dealing with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
Established in 1975, we are the largest provider of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment in Western New York.

Our focus on the Renaissance Campus is assisting adolescents and young adults in building a better future. Our team of compassionate and experienced staff guide not only the adolescent or young adult, but their families through the process of recovery.  We welcome all people regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or gender identity to come seek treatment in a safe and inclusive environment.

We offer a full continuum of care including: Early Intervention, Stabilization(2021), Rehabilitation and Reintegration (Halfway House). All of the services provided on the campus are both person centered and trauma informed. We work collaboratively with those we serve and we focus on the impact trauma has had on individual lives as well as its impact on recovery and needed services.

The work of the Roswell Park team encompasses many different disciplines and approaches, all rooted in some aspect of how cancer affects our lives — and in how a solution today can lessen that impact tomorrow. Roswell Park has been credited with establishing the model for today’s multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. A seamless interface of scientific inquiry and clinical application affords patients access to promising breakthroughs in cancer diagnostics, technologies and therapies. We also educate the next generation of cancer experts, with hundreds of learners coming to us each year for enrichment or education opportunities ranging from shadow days and internships to clinical training, fellowships and graduate degree programs in cancer science.

The mission of DART is to offer comprehensive and integrated services to meet the needs of patients with opioid use disorder. Patients are welcomed into an environment where they are treated with dignity and respect and encouraged to work towards recognition and insight into their own addiction as a lifelong process.

The DART treatment team consists of a medical director, nursing, counseling, and administrative staff who specialize in treating individuals.
