How to Apply

We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds to apply to our rewarding fellowship program.

Number of Positions

We accept only one fellow per year.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent visa
  • have a medical license (MD or DO)
  • not have retaken either step one or two of the USMLE more than once
  • have passed the Clinical Skills Exam on your first attempt
  • have your DEA and buprenorphine waivers before the program begins

Physicians specializing in obstetrics-gynecology or pediatrics are not eligible for this fellowship.

Deadline

We accept applications on a rolling basis.

Required Documents

  • dean’s letter accompanied by official medical school transcript*
  • three professional references, including one from your chief of service, if possible
  • letter from the head of the clinical service on which you recently served

* If you graduated from medical school more than five years ago, you may replace the dean’s letter with the letter from your chief of service.

Interviews

We schedule interviews on an ongoing basis.

If we invite you for an interview, you’ll spend the day with us, meeting faculty and our current fellow as well as touring our clinical training sites.
