In our department, you’ll collaborate with accomplished researchers on primary care studies that aim to improve the delivery and utilization of health care in our region and beyond.

We welcome medical students, residents and fellows to join our research teams. Our trainees gain valuable research experience under the mentorship of our world-class faculty.

Medical Students

As a UB medical student, you may engage in primary care research as an elective or as a summer research assistant.

Residents

During their training, our residents collaborate on a clinical study and a quality improvement project and may also use electives to conduct research.

Fellows

Our fellows have opportunities to participate in a variety of research endeavors during their training.
