Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Laboratories

M. Jeffery Mador, MD, inside our Buffalo VA Medical Center cardiopulmonary exercise testing lab.

M. Jeffery Mador, MD, uses leading-edge equipment to conduct full cardiopulmonary exercise assessments in one of our state-of-the-art facilities.

By using modern technology to evaluate how our patients' lungs and hearts perform during exercise challenges, we expertly assess and monitor a variety of pulmonary conditions in our cardiopulmonary exercise testing labs.

We have cardiopulmonary exercise facilities at two locations:

In our Buffalo VA Medical Center cardiopulmonary exercise facility, we undertake specialized research on skeletal muscle function in individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and patients in pulmonary rehabilitation.

For research and clinical purposes, we perform cardiopulmonary exercise testing, activity monitoring and body composition measurements in healthy individuals and those with pulmonary disease.
