We evaluate outpatients with a wide variety of sleep disorders at the Buffalo Medical Group Adult & Pediatric Sleep Center.
At our Buffalo Medical Group site, you will have the opportunity to solidify your knowledge of neurologically-based sleep disorders such as parasomnias and rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder. Further, training at this site will expand your ability to diagnose and manage adult and pediatric patients with disorders including:
Here, you will work with patient populations that give you experience with common sleep disorder comorbidities, such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity and psychiatric disorders.
You will gain familiarity with pediatric polysomnography at this training site. We take a multi-disciplinary approach to practicing pediatric sleep medicine. You will learn about working with:
Our specialists at this center have expertise in pediatric-focused continuous positive airway pressure. Our program includes specialized pediatric masks and monitoring for mid-face hypoplasia.
You will spend a half day per week for six months of the year at this site.
