It is with sad hearts that we in the Department of Biotechnical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences say goodbye to two professors emeritae who were instrumental in making the department what it is today.
Helen Lees, PhD, died in November 2017. She was the director of graduate studies for our master’s program until her retirement.
Betty R. Murphy died in May 2016. She was one of the first clinical education coordinators for our medical technology program.
We are thankful that these wonderful professors were part of our students’ education. We greatly miss them.
