Undergraduate Program (BS)

Biomedical informatics offers students the opportunity to blend the health sciences with the computational sciences, fostering the solution of complex biological system questions. Students will develop technical skills that have the potential to impact the future of patient care, whether at the bedside, in the C-suite or in the lab.

Master’s Program (MS)

For students interested in an academic or industrial research career. The master’s degree provides a solid foundation for pursuing doctoral level studies or immediately pursuing a job in data science post-graduation. Health care professionals entering the program will develop a new understanding of the role of data in the care of patients, the backbone for practicing evidence-based medicine.

Distance Learning Master’s Program (MS)

A new distance learning program is now available at a substantially reduced tuition rate of $7,500 per semester. Available to domestic and out-of-state students!

Doctoral Program (PhD)

Make your mark: Our PhD program in biomedical informatics—the first and only one of its kind in the State University of New York system—helps you develop the sought-after skills for academic and applied research careers in our rapidly expanding field.
