We are a member of ERNIES, a collaborative network designed to conduct multi-institution research in New York State. As a member, we contribute research ideas and participate in research lead by other intstitutions.
PECARN is the first federally-funded pediatric emergency medicine research network in the United States.
PECARN conducts high-priority, multi-institutional research on the prevention and management of acute illness and injuries in children and youth of all ages.
PECARN includes seven research nodes that work collaboratively to develop and conduct multi-center projects. Buffalo leads CHaMP, the only EMS focused node of PECARN.
