Education and Training

One of our main goals is educating the next generation of outstanding clinicians and researchers through training in the scientific disciplines of medicine and health psychology.

We achieve these goals in a supportive and stimulating environment that embodies the values of integrity, discovery, excellence, and collegiality.

  • Post Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine
We offer a two year NIH-funded post doctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine.
  • Graduate Students
We mentor graduate students pursuing their doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology or related fields.

We offer a host of training opportunities for gastroenterology fellowship research rotations, medical student electives, pre–doctoral psychology internships, undergraduate honors thesis, and undergraduate work–study experiences.
