We offer a two year NIH-funded post doctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine.
Responsibilities include psychological assessment of medically ill patients with comorbid conditions; learning and delivering CBT for a range of painful medical disorders, including IBS, headache, back pain, TMJ, fibromyalgia, etc using evidence-based treatment protocols; consultation-liaison, supervision of psychology trainees, participation in mentored, collaborative clinical research projects.
Because the fellowship adheres to a scholar/scientist-practitioner model, training opportunities are sufficiently diverse and flexible to appeal to trainees seeking the requisite training, supervision, and experience for licensing eligibility and/or research skills needed to work independently in academic settings.
Qualifications include a Ph.D or equivalent in Clinical, Counseling Psychology or related fields. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt.
