Curriculum

Our comprehensive curriculum prepares you well for fellowships and certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with special qualification in child neurology.

Each year, we build your scientific knowledge, clinical skills and professionalism, allowing you to take on increased responsibility for patient care, teaching and supervision.

You will gain relevant skills and background knowledge through 13 four-week modules, a continuing ambulatory clinic and our robust didactic training.

    During your first year of in-depth neurology training, you will develop expertise in managing common adult neurological conditions and be introduced to child neurology.

    Guided by our faculty experts, you will build competence in best-practice, evidence-based neurologic care for children in both hospital and clinic settings.

    In your final year, as you prepare to enter independent practice, you will gain an advanced understanding of neurologic diseases affecting children and take on substantial responsibility for patient care.
