PED 834 Pediatric Pulmonary Disease, 4 credits

This rotation is designed to improve the student’s skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of infants and children with acute and chronic pulmonary disease. Particular emphasis will be given to the physiological basis of pulmonary disease and modern diagnostic techniques, quality improvement and interprofessional health care delivery for cystic fibrosis, asthma, neuromuscular disease and other acute and chronic pulmonary diseases.

Prerequisite: MS4 or MS3 who has successfully completed PED 700
