Resident Research and QI
All residents are required to participate in scholarly activity and present a research project by the end of their PGY3 year. Research projects can be in basic science research, clinical research, quality improvement or advocacy.
Many of our residents present at regional and national conferences every year, including: Pediatric Academic Societies, Eastern Society for Pediatric Research, North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference, American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research and more!
Resident Research Day is held at the end of every academic year for residents to present their projects to all university faculty. Resident research awards are voted on by faculty and given to the best resident research projects of the year.
