Our weekly Grand Rounds series serves as a central forum for scholarly exchange, highlighting emerging research, critical debates, and evolving perspectives in psychiatry.

Each session features presentations by distinguished national experts who share their insights on diverse psychiatric topics with faculty, residents, medical students, fellows, and community professionals.

In addition to invited speakers, senior residents contribute by presenting original research or other forms of scholarly work, reinforcing the program's commitment to cultivating academic inquiry and professional development throughout the residency training experience. Attendance at Grand Rounds is required all four years of residency, ensuring longitudinal engagement with advances in the field.

The audience typically includes faculty, trainees, and regional practitioners, fostering a rich dialogue across levels of training and areas of expertise.  Members of our department also frequently participate in the Department of Neurology Grand Rounds, which offer complementary perspectives, and are often directly relevant to psychiatric research and clinical practice. Together, these forums strengthen the culture of collaboration and intellectual growth within the department and the broader medical community.
