General Surgery Residency
At A Glance
Each resident graduates with 950-1200 cases.
We rotate at six different hospitals throughout residency. All locations are within a 20 minute drive from each other, and three are on the same medical campus. You are only responsible for the patients at your rotation hospital.
Residents have four hours a week of protected didactic time; the first hour is Departmental Grand Rounds.
Residents have the opportunity to devote time to research and/or pursue advanced degrees (MBA, MPH, MEd, etc.)
