Do you already have your UBITName and temporary, single-use password? Now, you can answer a few security questions to activate your UBITName. Once activated, you can begin using your UBITName to access UB’s online services.
If you have previously applied to or attended UB, you will use your existing username and password to log into HUB. If you do not remember your username and password, contact the UBIT Help Desk. Be prepared to answer several security questions to verify your identity. Once your identity is confirmed, UBIT Help Desk Staff will assist you with your login information.
For your security, your UBITName account is protected by Duo two-step verification. Duo is required to access important UB services like MyUB, HUB Student Center and UB Learns.
Immunization information provided to UB will differ for new and returning non-degree seeking students based on the term/semester, number of enrolled credits, and the instruction type (in-person, online) for your courses.
UB’s Immunization Requirements
All Post Baccalaureate Program students for the 2024-2025 academic year must comply with immunization requirements. You will not be able to enroll in any courses until your immunization information has been processed.
You are encouraged to submit your immunization documentation as soon as possible, as Student Health Services must take time to verify compliance.
Note: If you just completed undergraduate studies at UB, you will not need to resubmit documentation for this year.
Log into HUB through MyUB to address any Holds or To-Do List.
HUB Student Center (via MyUB) is the UB’s online one-stop shop for students where you can register for classes, check grades, request transcripts, manage finances/financial aid, maintain personal information, and much more. The training guides below will help you complete specific tasks in HUB.
NOTE: This section includes screenshots that show how to process tasks in HUB. The University at Buffalo is committed to accessibility. If you experience any difficulty understanding information in this section or this website, please contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance.
The Office of Student and Academic Affairs (OSAA) will register you for all your courses for both Fall and Spring semesters provided there is no hold on your HUB Student Center.
As soon as possible, please visit Get My UB Card to submit your photo and government issued photo ID (U.S. driver’s license or a passport) to the UB Card Office. Please be sure to follow the Selfie Checklist when uploading your documents. This must be completed before June 30, 2024 so that your UB Card can be processed in time to distribute to you at Orientation.
UB uses License Plate Recognition (LPR), physical permits are not issued. Your license plate is your virtual permit to park on campus. You must register your license plate through the Parking and Transportation E-Business portal. You will need to log in using your UBITName and password.

You will need to secure off-campus housing for the period August 1, 2024 through May 2025. You should begin searching for potential rental opportunities before your arrival; you can also make appointments with potential rental properties before you arrive. The Post-Baccalaureate Program does not have a sponsored housing complex.
Listed below are some student apartment complexes located close to the University’s campuses to help with your search. We recommend finding a rental option with utilities included.
