Undergraduate Educational Policies in Biomedical Sciences

The Committee on Undergraduate Educational Policies in Biomedical Sciences reviews policies of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences affecting undergraduate students and makes recommendations to the Faculty Council concerning their affairs.

Charges

The committee works to develop an undergraduate research handbook (similar to the graduate-level handbook) to provide guidance for the rules and policies guiding undergraduate research policies, establish a training program for mentors hosting undergraduates in their labs, and create recommendations for undergraduate curricular matters, including the course proposal process within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
