Members of the Program Directors Advisory Council (PDAC) review and comment on proposed GME policies and procedures, share best practices for teaching, evaluating and assessing resident competence and organize faculty-development training.
The PDAC meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Membership in the Council includes all program directors (residencies and fellowships) of UB-sponsored training programs. If the program director cannot attend, an alternate faculty member (such as an assistant program director) should be asked to represent the program at each meeting. Program administrators are also welcome to attend.
The PDAC chair is a voting member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee.
