Focus groups are an excellent tool that can be used to gather qualitative data, to provide insight into the root cause of a problem, or to focus efforts of quality improvement.
If requested, OAQI will conduct focus groups for your team, and provide a final report. Findings may also be presented to your team via oral presentation if desired.
Further, OAQI can work with your team to develop a plan, based on findings, using various quality improvement tools.
The Requesting Party is responsible for providing a list of possible participants and contact information, as well as refreshments/meals for participants during sessions. If the location is outside of the Jacobs School, the Requesting Party must make the necessary arrangements for a quiet, closed space, with a conference room set up and available power outlets.
Due to the logistics required in coordinating schedules for a sufficient number of participants, requests must be submitted at least 3 months prior to the final report due date.
