Photo Update Process

We'll work with you schedule and take the photos. Once we've taken all the photos, we'll update your site with the new photos and edit or rewrite the captions.

Your photos will be available on our photo archive.

Your Role

We need you to identify, contact and schedule the appropriate faculty and fellows for each photo.

You are responsible for ensuring that all participants show up at a shoot. Your faculty and fellows should dress professionally and, if possible, bring their white coats. Scrubs are OK if they are appropriate to the setting.

Plan for one location and shooting session per photo. We will not use the same location for all of your photos, nor can we take all of your photos in one session. Depending on the size and equipment within the location, we may be able to take two photos in one area.

You may ask faculty and fellows to recommend locations shoots. The locations can be similar to the images we are replacing.

Depending on the location, we will need a contact person and their confirmation that they understand photography will take place.

Plan for at least 30 minutes per shoot

Our photographer needs access to a location 15 minutes before the subjects arrive to set up her equipment. Once she's set up her lighting equipment, the shoot will take less than 15 minutes.
