Get ready for an exciting day of discovery at our Student Open House on Saturday, April 18 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.! (Psst... Don’t forget to bring an adult along for this free adventure.)
Start your journey at 640 Ellicott Street — and step into a world where science, creativity and innovation come to life.
From there, join a guided tour across campus to explore incredible institutions like Kaleida Health, the Jacobs Institute, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, UB/HWI and the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Fellowship in Community Engagement, Administration and Leadership Symposium
You are invited to attend the symposium for our 2025 Cohorts.
- A 10-minute presentation of the anticipated results and/or progress of our awardees
- Event open to the community to attend

The Heart of The Team - New Staff Recognition
We invite you to participate with your recognition to our amazing staff at the Jacobs School.
Any staff member at the Jacobs School that excels in their role, influencing significantly the success of any department or unit, and that it is deserving of recognition at the School level.
- Provide specific and impactful examples
- Highlight moments where they show initiative or innovation going above and beyond their role
- Describe in detail what difference have they made for students or the community
- Show how they excel consistently (not just once!)
- Reinforce why they are uniquely deserving
Once your nominee is selected, we display the reasons for each nomination on the monitors of the Jacobs School and the CTSI building throughout the year.

Whether you are going through clerkships or doing clinical rotations, most likely you are working side by side with our volunteer faculty. More than teaching you clinical skills, they are the ones devoting their time and sharing the stories that shape your learning experience.
