Celebrating the Dedication of Our Physicians on National Doctors’ Day 2024

Published March 28, 2024

National Doctor's Day March 30, 2024.

Today, as we come together with health care organizations nationwide to observe National Doctors’ Day, which happens on March 30, I extend heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed faculty, students, residents, fellows, the UBMD Physicians’ Group and our valued hospital partners. Your commitment to this noble profession is paramount in enhancing the well-being of individuals in our Western New York community and beyond.

From the beginning of life's journey to its final moments, our lives are intertwined with the passion of physicians who strive to make a meaningful impact through exemplary health care and groundbreaking advancements.

Doctors are lifesavers. They excel in diagnosing conditions, charting paths to recovery, advancing medical education, and pioneering critical solutions to health care challenges through innovative research.

As a premier academic health and research center, the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo is at the forefront of shaping the future of health care, innovation and discovery.

I invite each of you, whether you are a doctor or have been touched by the care of a doctor, to join me in expressing gratitude for their exceptional contributions, tireless dedication, and role modeling for future generations.

Happy Doctors’ Day!

Warm wishes,
