Telemetry Service

You’ll complement your CCU training by caring for less critically ill cardiac patients at Buffalo General Medical Center.

In conjunction with our faculty cardiologist, you’ll take the lead in managing patients admitted to BGMC’s telemetry service, gaining more autonomy with each year of training.

In addition to the attending, your team will consist of internal medicine/family medicine residents and a fourth-year medical student.

You’ll discuss all new admissions with your team and supervise the residents and medical student.

Together with your CCU rotation, your telemetry training offers you extensive clinical experience with a diverse patient population, a wide range of cardiac disorders and the full spectrum of illness severity.
