Research

Collaborate with physician-scientists at the top of our field to carry out a clinical or translational research project.

During your first-year research module, you’ll:

become acquainted with our division’s research activity
meet with our research coordinator
determine your area of interest
select a project
identify a faculty mentor
update yourself on the literature
create an IRB proposal (if applicable)

You may continue with your research during related rotations or use elective time to conduct research.

Length of Rotation

1 four-week module during year 1
up to 6-9 additional modules available as electives during years 2 and 3
may conduct research during relevant clinical rotations
