Apply to the major in pharmacology and toxicology by using our online application. You will need your UB person number. If you have research experience, you will also need to write a brief description of that.

We will send you a confirmation email once we process your application (within a week), and a decision by email before the end of the spring semester.

Apply to our BS program in the spring semester of your sophomore year (after receiving all fall grades).

The admissions committee will review your entering GPA, your entire transcript (including non-UB courses), your research experience and other application materials.

You must have a minimum prerequisite GPA of 2.5 to be considered, but this does not guarantee acceptance into the program.  

Our program is very competitive: Each year we receive about 80 to 90 applications and enroll about 40 to 50 of those students as majors. The fall 2011 incoming class had an average entering GPA of 3.316.
