Ann and I met on the UB Main St. Campus in 1977. Ann was in the nursing program and I was pre-pharmacy. She had dated my best friend who was in the school of music but they didn’t have enough in common. I recognized her as she passed daily to catch the bus back to Kenmore. One thing led to another and 4 years later we were married the same weekend of our UB graduations. We moved outside of Rochester where Ann became employed as a pediatric nurse practitioner and I was hired as a staff pharmacist. Forty years later, Ann still loves working with kids and I have an exciting clinical position in ambulatory care pharmacy. We raised to wonderful 2 children and now have 6 adorable grandchildren. We continue to adapt to the ever-changing world of healthcare and enjoy making a difference in our patients’ lives.
