Dear future anesthesiology residents,
Hello and welcome to UB! Starting residency is a big transition, and at UB we’re here to support you—not just as clinicians in training, but as people navigating a new chapter in life. Our program prides itself on not only providing strong clinical training with a diverse and supportive case mix, but also fostering a culture of collegiality, balance, and wellness. You’ll be working alongside faculty and fellow residents who are truly invested in your growth and well-being. As the wellness chief resident, my goals are to embrace all of what learning at UB has to offer and create a space for resident wellness.

Throughout the year, our program organizes events, check-ins, and activities to help you stay grounded, connected, and cared for. While rotating at seven different hospitals in the area, residents can still find community.
